I cannot always have everything in my head, especially information I stumble upon on the net. If I know the keywords to search for in an article I previously read, I could use a search engine to do that. But sometime ago I discovered that I needed to recall a certain information I got from a Facebook group, and I knew for sure that Google wouldn’t have given me accurate results.

So, how do I search for a post in Facebook group?

Unfortunately, Facebook Open Graph Search does not include searching in groups. But there is a way out.

Unknown to many, Facebook enabled search in a group. This can be activated by clicking the magnifying glass on the right of the page, just below the group banner. Then type whatever information you need to search, and, easy as toast, you get your results.

I guess that is why Facebook never included search in groups to Open Graph Search. Maybe.
