One thing very appealing about Windows 8 is the task manager. Compared to Windows 7 task manager, it has far more features and is more beautiful. If like me you use a Windows 7 but you want Windows 8 task manager on Windows 7, there’s a little tweak you can use to achieve this.
Unfortunately you can’t just copy Windows 8 task manager from another PC and expect it to run on your Windows 7, but to “fool” your PC to run Windows 8 task manager on Windows 7, download DCS_x64 for 64-bit and DCS_x86 for 32-bit Windows.
Download the version for your PC, run it, and you’re good to go.
This alternative task manager does not interrupt your normal task manager so you can still have the look and feel of your old Windows 7 task manager.
Have you tried this tweak/app? Do you know of any alternatives? Please leave a comment below.
