For Microsoft Exchange Administrators, Server Administrators, etc…
What happens when you try to remove an Active Sync device from Microsoft Exchange Management Console, but you get an error message? Don’t worry, there is a way to take it out using Exchange Management Shell.
Run Exchange Management Shell, and execute the following commands
Get-ActiveSyncDevice -Mailbox firstname.lastname@example.org
This shows the currently connected Active Sync Devices. Copy the Guid of the device you wish to remove
Remove-ActiveSyncDevice - Identity "The GUID we copied"
That should do the trick!
